Refund and Returns Policy

We strive to provide a consistently high-quality product and verify order accuracy before anything leaves our studio headed to your home. On the rare occasion you find a flaw or error on our part, reach out. We are human and sometimes make a mistake. Our Refunds and Returns policy is governed by the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have done unto you. At Homespun HoneyBee Designs we take this seriously and always aim to treat others as we would like to be treated.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You may return any item, excluding clearance items, within 30 days of receiving your order, as long as it is unworn, unwashed and in the original packaging.

The buyer is responsible for any shipping costs to return the item, unless the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) or you paid for shipping coverage on your order.

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Custom embroidered/monogrammed items
  • Downloadable digital products, eBooks
  • Some personal hair care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

*Any items received back for a return that violate these policies will not be issued a refund.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Bow or ribbon with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-5 business days. Refunds are processed every Thursday.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted if you paid by Debit card. We have no control over this.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at service@homespunhoneybee.com.

Sale items

Final Sale Items – Unfortunately clearance items cannot be refunded. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

ExchangesIf you need to exchange an item, we recommend placing a new order for the item or hair accessory you want and returning the original item.  Items sell quickly, so this is the easiest way to ensure you get the desired piece. 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. It is wise to purchase Tracking for your return so that you will know when we receive it.
